Avoid sun exposure: treatment cannot be done if you have had sun exposure within weeks of your laser hair removal treatment, as laser will sizzle any pigment on your skin. This means that if you are sunburned, or just tanned, you may need to reschedule your appointment.
A spray tan’s a safe tan unless you’re getting laser!
The same as with a real tan, you can’t be treated with laser hair removal if you have had a spray tan. It must be completely off before having treatment. So it’s time to embrace your inner Anne Hathaway and show off the pale look on the day of your appointment.
Shave BUT don’t wax!
The hair follicle must be present for the laser to identify it, so DO NOT wax, epilate or tweeze. Instead use depilatory creams or shave the treatment area before your appointment.
